======The Core: Terminus Station======

The closest to a ‘city centre’ that the Underground has to offer; one of the largest stations as yet discovered, boasting cavernous corridors and arching ceilings. It is far from beautiful in the eyes of most, however, with steadily rusting pipes and dubious electrical set-ups lining the walls, and heavy bars of concrete framing the grey space in which the residents meet.

Given its size, and central location amongst the labyrinthian sprawl of stations and tunnels that house this community, Terminus Station is the venue of the weekly ‘town meetings’ (and where each [[uptime_and_sessions|uptime]] takes place). The dizzying heights of the staircases provide speakers a prominent stage from which to offer announcements to the population below, and the open halls allow the community to discuss, dispute, and debate as one.

The station is far from quiet during the remainder of the week, however—instead, it hosts the citizen's major market, run by and run for the general populace. The corridors are lined with an eclectic display of tents, stalls and tables, each decorated with a selection of rather sought-after goods, and alive with the sounds of haggle. Most work has transitioned from the monotonous routine of a 9–5 grind, by necessity, to performing functions needed for survival; pitching in wherever needed and with whatever skills one has to serve the good of the people.
